We now have two offices to serve our customers.

In 1915 Charles F. Wheeler opened the first Wheeler Realty Company in Greeley. Branch offices were eventually opened in Windsor (1967), Fort Collins (1972), Loveland (1976), Estes Park (1977), Ault (1987), and West Point-Greeley (1991).

In 1994 Zachary Thornton opened a Wheeler branch in Fort Morgan and partnered with the Better Homes and Gardens franchise. By the time GMAC Real Estate purchased Better Homes and Gardens in 1999, Thornton’s branch had become the dominant realty company in Morgan County and Wheeler Realty GMAC Real Estate maintains that supremacy today. Seeing a need in Logan County, Thornton expanded to Sterling in 2001. By providing Premier Service and old-fashioned hard work, the Sterling branch is realizing amazing results.

Our seller’s properties are not only offered through the Multiple Listing Service in Logan County (Sterling), but also in an MLS which reaches Realtors representing buyers throughout Morgan County, Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins and Boulder. Wheeler Realty GMAC Real Estate also subscribes to the Denver Metro List MLS and this provides availability to Realtors in the Denver Metro area and throughout the Front Range.
